Total Seal CR Classic Race Gas Ported piston rings are built around Total Seal's ductile iron, plasma-moly coated conventional top rings with a BIG difference, the top ring land receives multiple gas port grooves. 

• Gas-ported performance without gas-ported pistons
• Features strategically sized and placed horizontal slots in the ring allowing combustion gas to enter through the groove and behind the ring to gas-load the ring providing greatly improved ring sealing.
• Extensively tested in virtually every form of race engine with the same increases in ring sealing time after time.

They have conventional cast iron second rings and 3-piece, standard-tension stainless steel oil rings. These ring sets are ideal for street use, race applications, and mild levels of nitrous or forced induction.
