These Edelbrock #61525 Performer RPM CNC Cylinder Heads for 1962-79 389-455 c.i.d. Pontiac engines feature 2.11 intake valves and 1.60 exhaust valves. They are set up for use with a hydraulic roller cam and have the new 87cc CNC machined combustion chamber. The CNC machined chamber results in a consistent and precise chamber for improved flow performance.

These Performer RPM CNC cylinder head with 87cc chambers are best for big cubic inch stroker higher compression engines. They convert a cast iron headed 10.5:1 engine into a pump gas friendly engine due to the CNC chambers and aluminum's rapid heat dissipation. If you need a higher compression head, we also stock Edelbrock #61515 which has a smaller 72cc CNC chamber.

The Edelbrock #61525 Performer RPM CNC cylinder head is patterned after the same port flange configuration as the 1969-1970 Ram-Air IV Pontiac Cylinder Head.

Standard intake manilolds bolt right on as do RAIV style round port exhaust manifolds or headers.
