These Edelbrock #61595 Performer D-Port CNC Cylinder Heads for 1962-79 389-455 c.i.d. Pontiac engines feature 2.11 intake valves and 1.60 exhaust valves. They are set up for use with a hydraulic roller tappet cam and have the new 72cc CNC machined combustion chamber. The CNC machined chamber results in a consistent and precise chamber for improved flow performance.

These Performer CNC cylinder heads with 72cc chambers are best for high compression strokers but they also convert your cast iron headed a 10.5:1 engine into a pump gas friendly engine due to the CNC chambers and aluminum's rapid heat dissipation. If you need a lower compression head, we also stock Edelbrock #61575 which has a larger 87cc CNC chamber.

The Edelbrock #61595 Performer D-Port CNC cylinder head is patterned after the Pontiac D-Port Cylinder Head.

Standard intake manilolds bolt right on as do standard D-Port exhaust manifolds or headers.
